The history of composite materials has come a long way it started from the need to develop stronger and more durable materials for aircrafts, then cars, then other structures. It was not until the 20th century that composite materials were extensively used in many fields such as aerospace engineering, automotive engineering, medical devices and sport equipment. The constant need for the development of lightweight material which are sustainable durable and available at a lower cost have taken composite material history to great lengths. Do they composite materials are used in everything from technology using defense to medical supplies and prosthetics and I believe the industry has a very bright future because not only it builds better material for technology it is also environment friendly.
